Description
All our Alpaca garments are hand-made of 100% pure alpaca fiber. They were born from the first initiative in Ecuador to revive traditional alpaca fiber processing. This effort is rescuing the art of pre-colonial hand-spinning, with the ancestral technique of guango y huso, backstrap loom weaving and natural dyeing with minerals, plants, flowers, and cochinea.
We protect the earth and preserve the culture in these indigenous communities by fostering sustainable development of campesino communities of the Ecuadorian highlands.
Instructions for care:hand wash with soft soap, and dry on a flat surface.
